Given Simeline, professionally known as Mgive SA, is an optimistic entertainer who is determined to shine in the music world. He is a rapper, producer, and social activist from Kwamhlanga in Mpumalanga. People around him always example him as the best passionate person for his dedication. Mgive has devoted himself to hip-hop music since the age of 13. At such early age, he focused to become a rap artist and started writing lyrics to come up with his own song composition.

 

Mgive was inspired by listening to Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Kanye West, and their influence is at the top notch that reflects in his song compositions. His music is elementary, very catchy, and easy to be understood by a large mass. At the same time, his music comes in different forms with unique and beautifully portrayed messages. As a result, his artistic brilliance has earned him a popular height in the music industry.

Social anxiety and unpleasant moments of strain inspire him to write music and also music allows him to vent. This premise defines his goal as an artist to raise awareness on issues he cares about, including concerning mental health.

Mgive believes that music helps him to express himself. Since Mgive is not a man of many words, he employs music to talk a bit more about his life so that the world can understand him better. And thats the reason he never gave up on music.

Mgive has performed at several local events around Mpumalanga and his music has made it to a few local radio stations. After spending years as an underground artist, he learned more about the craft and the business side of music. So, he decided to create an independent record label called ATE Records". Mgive is now releasing his music under that record label.

Mgives music cuts deep into the problems in our everyday lives. His latest single Alone is an example of his genius. Bongo Riot, Nemza (From Skwatta Camp), King Sweet Kid, and Mega are some popular artists that Mgive has collaborated with so far. Currently, he is working on releasing a mixtape and also an album which will show up this year.
